What levels are the workouts?

Last updated on 27 Jan, 2026

Barre Definition offers workouts for Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels, with multiple programs designed to meet you exactly where you are in your fitness journey.

Here’s how it’s structured:

  • 28-Day Beginner Program
A true foundation program with slower pacing, form-focused instruction, and low-impact workouts. Perfect if you’re brand new, coming back after time off, postpartum, or easing into barre.

  • 90-Day Barre Program (3 Levels)
This signature program progresses through three intensity tiers:

    • Gentle: Low-impact, slower pace, great for beginners, postpartum, or recovery days

    • Define: Moderate intensity, longer holds, more burn and sculpting

    • Strong: Higher intensity, more complex combos, and advanced strength work

  • Beginner Workouts
Foundational classes focused on technique, alignment, and building strength safely.

  • Intermediate Workouts
Moderate intensity with longer holds, more pulses, and deeper muscle fatigue.

  • Advanced Workouts
Faster-paced, higher resistance, more complex choreography, and maximum burn.

  • Pre & Postnatal Programs
Safe, low-impact workouts specifically designed for pregnancy and postpartum recovery, with appropriate modifications and core support.

  • Monthly Challenge
A rotating monthly challenge that’s suitable for all levels, with built-in options to modify up or down depending on your energy, cycle phase, or fitness level.

Every workout includes modification options, so you can make it easier or more challenging based on how you’re feeling that day. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned barre lover, you can progress at your own pace and always find something that fits your body and your goals.
